Calinos Entertainment announced today it has added Salted Love (Tuzlu Kahve/Salty Coffee) to its slate and will present the new Turkish drama to buyers at MIPCOM 2026.

Produced by Poll Films and airing on Star TV in Turkey, Salted Love premiered on September 1 with a strong opening, ranking No. 1 across Total, AB and ABC1 on its first night, the distributor said.

With the tagline “Love comes in every flavor,” the series blends romance, humor and family drama in a story about love, marriage and the expectations that come with both.
Much of the attention around Salted Love has also centered on its cast. Nebahat Çehre, Eda Ece, Buğra Gülsoy, Binnur Kaya, Şevval Sam, Yasemin Ergene, Ceren Moray, Enis Arıkan, Sarp Apak, Hatice Aslan, Nergis Kumbasar, Cengiz Bozkurt, Nevra Serezli and Settar Tanrıöğen come together in one of the most remarkable ensemble casts seen on Turkish television in more than a decade.

In Salted Love, Derin, the granddaughter of one of Istanbul’s wealthy families, dreams of getting married and starting a family, but despite her long-term relationship, the wedding she has been waiting for never seems to happen. Meanwhile, Mehmet returns to Turkey after years abroad, with his family hoping he will finally settle down and start a new life. When Mehmet’s brother Murat prepares to marry Elit, tensions from the past between Derin and Elit’s family resurface, bringing Derin and Mehmet into the same world. As family expectations, old resentments, secrets and misunderstandings come into play, their lives begin to take an unexpected turn.
