CEEDocudays UA unveils national competition lineup for Docu/Ukraine
Docudays UA has announced the films selected for the national competition section Docu/Ukraine at the 23rd edition of the International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival, taking place from June 5-12, 2026.
The competition lineup includes five Ukrainian documentaries: Don’t Ask Me If I Killed by Olena Maksiom, Where Everything Disappears by Oleksandr Tkachenko, Silent Flood by Dmytro Sukholytkyy-Sobchuk, Traces by Alisa Kovalenko and Marysia Nikitiuk, and Illusion of a Quiet Night by Olha Chernykh. According to festival program director Yuliia Kovalenko, the selected films continue to explore the realities of life in wartime Ukraine through innovative cinematic forms and personal stories. Several titles have already premiered at major international festivals including IDFA, Berlin International Film Festival, FIPADOC and Visions du Réel. Additional screenings of Traces, Silent Flood and Illusion of a Quiet Night will also take place at Mykolaichuk OPEN in Chernivtsi later in June. RELATED
