CEEStoryby partners with COL Media to expand AI-driven content and IP development
Storyby has entered into a strategic partnership with COL Media to expand its AI-powered production capabilities, grow its IP library, and collaborate on new content initiatives.
COL Media, known for its work in the vertical video space through platforms such as FlareFlow and ReelShort, will join forces with Storyby to strengthen the DramaShorts portfolio and bring popular titles from AlphaNovel to a global audience. The partnership will focus on adapting successful IP into vertical dramas, AI-animated series, and vertical anime formats. The collaboration reflects a growing trend in the industry toward short-form, mobile-first storytelling combined with AI-driven production workflows. By leveraging COL Media’s expertise in vertical content and Storyby’s IP assets, the companies aim to accelerate development cycles and scale international distribution. Both companies said the partnership is ongoing, with multiple new releases, genres, and projects already in development as they look to shape the next wave of digital entertainment. Storyby is a tech company focused on discovering rising star authors and offering their stories to read, watch, and experience through engaging content. The company develops an ecosystem of products for reading, listening, and watching stories, such as AlphaNovel (novels) and DramaShorts (short video series). Although officially based in Cyprus, the company is frequently described as a "Ukraine-founded" startup and continues to maintain a significant presence in Kyiv. The company was founded by Artem Kutukov and Leo Ovdiienko. RELATED
