Bruce Humphreys named United Group SVP Human Capital

United Group announced the appointment of Bruce Humphreys as its new Senior Vice President Human Capital. Bruce brings more than 30 years of international experience in human resources and legal leadership across Europe, the United States, South America, and the Far East.

Bruce began his career at the UK barristers’ chambers Stanbrook and Hooper, before moving into senior roles in major global organizations. His previous positions include Head of Administration Europe at Bristol-Myers Squibb Research Europe, Regional Director HR and Legal for Warner-Lambert (now Pfizer), Vice President Human Resources Europe at Chrysler and Newell-Rubbermaid, and Chief Human Resources Officer at KPN International.

Throughout his career, Bruce has led complex HR transformations and large-scale restructuring programmes across both industrial and non-industrial sectors. He has overseen integration processes during acquisitions, established global remuneration and benefits frameworks, and managed international and local industrial relations, including European Works Councils. His strategic approach to talent management and organizational development has enabled him to build agile, high-performing teams capable of navigating diverse and rapidly changing business environments.

Bruce holds multiple LL.M. degrees from European universities and is fluent in several languages and outside of work is a passionate mechanic who enjoys restoring vintage cars.
