Beta Film’s latest hit within the acclaimed Skam universe, the Croatian remake Sram (Shame), is returning for a second season following a fantastic debut in 2024, the distributor announced. Upon its release, Sram instantly struck a powerful chord with young audiences worldwide, amassing over 64 million views online.

In just three months, the show's official social media platforms attracted more than 160,000 followers, while, at the same time, the series’ original theme song “Anđeo” became an instant hit, achieving over 6 million streams on Spotify and holding 1 on the Billboard Croatia chart for an impressive 10 consecutive weeks.

Season two of Sram is set to premiere on April 25 on HTV1 and will continue to explore the challenges and complexities of teenage life through a raw and authentic lens. While staying true to the spirit of the Norwegian original, the second season will center around Nora, the Croatian counterpart to Noora, delving deeper into her personal journey and relationship.

The series is produced by Bruno Mustić and Ivan Lovreček, with Jelena Gavrilović serving as director and Frane Pamić as DOP. Sram was edited by Jan Klemsche and Marta Bregeš, and written by Kristina Kumrić. The commissioning editors are Maja Fišter and Tomislav Mršić.
