CEEAMCU allows Kyivstar to acquire Uklon taxi service
The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) has granted Kyivstar, a mobile communications operator, permission to acquire Uklon taxi service.
The AMCU Chairman Pavlo Kyrylenko announced this on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports. "Private Joint-Stock Company Kyivstar was granted permits to acquire control over UKLON LTD and limited liability companies Tech Uklon, Uklon Corporate, and Uklon Ukraine. Such decisions were made at today's meeting by the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine based on five applications from Kyivstar," he said. According to him, the Committee concluded that the actions of the PJSC will not lead to structural changes in any of the three involved product markets – online advertising, organization of passenger car transportation, and goods delivery services. The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine received an application to purchase the Uklon taxi service from Ukraine's largest telecom company Kyivstar. Forbes Ukraine estimated the company's current price at USD 40-80 million. RELATED
