CEEBBCWW Poland announces new programming team
BBC Worldwide Poland has announced the setting up of a local program team for its channel brands BBC Brit, BBC Earth, BBC Lifestyle and BBC HD. A new team of five people will be in based in the Warsaw office.
“New roles have been created in order to provide Polish viewers with not only the highest quality content, but also tailored to the needs of the local market. Personnel changes also support a more regionalized approach to managing channels”, BBCWW announced, quoted by local media. The program team will include Senior Programming Manager, Tom Balfour, the current BBC Brit channel programmer, who moves to the Polish office in Warsaw from the BBC Worldwide headquarters in London. The team managed by him locally will be joined by Joanna Rathe as Programming Manager, Aleksandra Graczak and Konrad Lesiewicz as Presentation & Media Planners and Urszula Żukowska- Programming & Presentation Assistant. The team will be reporting directly to the Director of Programming, Branded Services for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at BBC Worldwide headquarters in London. RELATED
