Ay Yapim, Turkey’s leading producer, have revealed the first details of their latest big drama project, Heart Of The City (Bu Şehir Arkandan Gelecek). The title is the latest in a multi-series deal with distributor Eccho Rights which sees five brand new shows distributed throughout the world.

Starring Kerem Bursin in the lead role, with Leyla Lydia Tuğutlu and Gürkan Uygun, the series premieres on ATV Turkey in January, with the first teaser trailer released this weekend.

The story follows Ali, a young man brought up on a cargo ship at sea, who unexpectedly finds himself reunited with the city that he was born in. Though he fears and resents his past, he finds that his ties to the city are too strong to resist.
